A substantial bronze military mount or belt stiffener comprising a D-section tapering bar with one ribbed finial, the other heart-shaped, two lateral D-shaped flanges each with circular void, flanked by lateral bars with two voids and tendril detailing; three attachment lugs to the reverse. 18.7 grams, 92mm (3 3/4"). Fine condition. [No Reserve]

Footnotes
The Beneficiarius was a specially-commissioned soldier whose duties would include undertaking a specific role such as military police. The insignia included a disc with spikes and two circular holes, shown on a military altar.
