A bronze shallow bowl with plain lid, inner face decorated with concentric ornamental bands including calligraphic text reserved on a hatched field, roundels with reserved (zodiacal?) images, interlaced tendrils, punched roundels and other motifs. 1.4 kg, 21.5cm (8 1/2"). Fine condition.

Property of a London gentleman, acquired in the 1990s.
