A white marble rectangular plaque with black rectilinear inlaid frames, central recess with inlaid frame and florid arch flanked by two polychrome rosettes with nine lines of inscribed text in Devanagari script(?); from the Agra region. 13.8 kg, 45cm (17 1/2"). Fine condition, corners chipped.

Property of a London gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s.
