Beautifully hand painted Russian silver triptych icon (skladen) featuring the image of Jesus, Archangel Mikhail on the left, St. George on the right pane. The inscription in Cyrillic on the back reads as follows: То headquarters captain Yermolinsky а blessing from the lower ranks of the regimental bread and soldiers' shop L.G. Pr. Pol. Bless and Save. Russian silver hallmarks: 84 with female head looking left with small Cyrillic letters "AR" and letter "N". See P-L page 259, fig. # 3882. St. Petersburg essayer's marks A. Rikhter 1898 - 1903.
