An Extremely Rare Large Pewter Elijah Cup , Germany, 1748
Description: Raised on a circular foot and engraved with Hebrew inscription from Exodus 6/6. Surmounted by a bulbous stem and terminating in a large bowl finely hammered, chased and engraved with medallions surrounded by clusters of flowers and inscribed in Hebrew "Passover", dedicated and dated "Leon Abad Gonenheim, Shlomo Filda" (see closeups).
Height: 24.5 cm
Condition: Consistent with age.
