Large Illustrated Plaque Marking Holy Sites in Eretz Yisrael, Second Half of the 19th Century

Colorful manuscript marking the locations of Eretz Yisrael's Holy Sites and graves up until the generation of the Ar"i. Illustrated in gouache and ink, it is arranged in horizontal columns and divided into "Holy Cities:" Jerusalem, Chevron, Tzfas, Tveria, Shechem and Miron.

A large illustration of Har Habayis appears in the center of the page, marked with the Beis Hamikdash and Western Wall. It is surrounded by a rainbow colored border with the inscription: "May it be Your will… that the Beis Hamikdash be built speedily in our days…"
Above and on the sides of this, the different Holy Sites in Jerusalem and its environs are marked, such as the graves of the kings, Chulda Hanevi'ah, Chagai Hanavi, the seventy Sanhedrin, Zechariya, Avshalom, Rachel Imeinu and others.

The bottom half of the page includes the graves and sites of Chevron, Tzfas, Tveria and Shechem, with a large central illustration of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai's grave in Miron.
