First Chassidic Sefer Published in Slavita

1st Ed. Sefer Rav Yevei by Rabbi Yaakov Yosef of Ostraha, Slavita 1792:
Personal Copy of the Holy Brothers, Rabbi Yitzchak of Boyan and Rabbi Yisrael of Sadigura, Grandsons of Rabbi Admor of Ruzhin

Sefer Rav Yevei containing explanations on the parshiyos, Tehillim, novellae on Talmud, and " disappearing midrashim" from Rabbi Yaakov Yosef of Ostraha, son of Rabbi Yehuda Leib of Ostraha and a disciple of the Maggid of Mezritch.
There is a pamphlet titled "Morah Mikdash" included at the beginning of the sefer, sharply criticizing those who speak of mundane matters in a shul.

In his sefer, Rabbi Yaakov Yosef brings down the Baal Shem Tov as well as the Chassidic giants Rabbi Nachman of Kossov and Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Be'er. The sefer also bears endorsements from the great disciples of the Maggid of Mezritch: Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Barditchev and Rabbi Asher Tzvi of Ostraha.

Published in Slavita, 1792, the title page is stamped with the royal seal of the holy brothers, Rabbi Yitzchak of Boyan - patriarch of the Boyan dynasty, and Rabbi Yisrael of Sadigura, sons of Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, son of the Admor of Ruzhin. In the center of the impressive seal there is an image of a sitting lion, in reference to the Kingdom of David whom they descend from.
Following the passing of their illustrious father, Rabbi Yisrael succeeded his father in Sadigura while Rabbi Yitzchak took up residence in the city of Boyan.
Stefansky, Chassidus 531
