Anaf Etz Avot. A commentary on Pirkei Avot by Rabbi Avraham son of Rabbi Chanoch Henich of Tomashov. [Altona], 1774. Only edition.
A small booklet with the commentary "Me'at HaKamut Sanson Echad...as we were shown from Heaven." In his introduction, the author describes a massacre carried out on the Jews of Ukraine, he seems to be referring to the riots against the Jews in 1768 by the 'haidamaka' who were gangs of Cossacks. It appears that the author before us also wrote a commentary on the Haggadah named Anavim B'Midbar which was printed in Altona in 1778.
Unique Features: An uncommon book, listed in Vinograd -Rosenfeld in the year 1760.

Aging stains. New impressive parchment binding, with ties.
