FOLDING ENGRAVED HEBREW MAP OF THE HOLY LAND indicating the travels in the wilderness and the division of the Land among the Tribes of Israel. All accomplished by the proselyte Abram ben Jacob. Concluding Aschkenazic hymns provided with Judeo-German translations. ff. (1), 26, (1). Map laid in. Touch worn and lightly soiled, marginal paper repairs, new endpapers. The First Illustrated Amsterdam Hagadah.

     This is the first Hagadah (and one of the first Hebrew books) to contain copper-engraved illustrations. It also contains a fine folding map of the Land of Israel, one of the very earliest to be captioned in Hebrew.
     The first of two variants (see next lot).
