Isaac Prostitz, Prostejov (Prossnitz / Prostitz): 1603.
One of the two books printed by the illustrious Isaac Prostitz in his hometown of Prostejov. The other 261 books he issued were all printed in Cracow.
Prostejov, in the province of Moravia (today the Czech Republic), was home at various times to such notables as the Mahara’m A’sh, R. Yonassan Eybeschuetz, the Chasam Sofer and the bibliographer, Moritz Steinschneider.
