Description
Full Color Vintage Billboard Salesman Samples Folio Book This is a rare example of the 1940s; Outdoor Poster Advertising; containing 19 design samples on embossed cardboard stock. The green billboard portion is embossed and colored with the center section for the ad cut out. These include some of the most iconic names from the period: Wrigleys Chewing Gum, Canada Dry Spur, Vegamato, Shell, Bergholf Beer, General Tire, Chesterfield Cigarettes, Sunkist, Heinz, Standard Service, Ford Trucks, and the very collectible Coca-Cola - Me Too- Campaign. All design colors are bright and vibrant as well as the text. The images are in very good condition with no notable staining or marks. There is corner rubbing, some edge chipping, and slight discoloration on the edges of the cardboard holders. The boards measure approximately 14 inches by 8.75 inches.
