VINTAGE MILITARY HISTORY OF POLAND PRINTS 1944
A collection of vintage colored prints executed by ORBIS, a London-based publishing house, in 1944. The prints were a part of the Historia Oreza Polskiego - History of the Polish Army album. Each print has a commentary in English and Polish on the back. The lot consists of four reproductions depicting scenes from the life of Polish military, signed Pacevin. Numbers 26-28, 30: 1939, Polish Forces in France 1940, Polish Forces in Great Britain 1940-1943. Handwritten pencil notes on each illustration commenting on the characters.
