VINTAGE MILITARY HISTORY OF POLAND PRINTS 1944
A collection of vintage colored prints executed by ORBIS, a London-based publishing house, in 1944. The prints were a part of the Historia Oreza Polskiego - History of the Polish Army album. Each print has a commentary in English and Polish on the back. The lot consists of four reproductions depicting scenes from the life of Polish military, signed Pacevin. Numbers from 5 to 8: Around 1600, Middle of the 17th Century, End of the 17th Century, First Half of the 18th Century. Handwritten pencil notes on each illustration commenting on the characters.
