A PARTIALLY GILT METAL CIRCULAR BOX AND LID
China, Qing dynasty, 19th century
Circular section, the box supported by a wide ring foot, the whole external surface incised with horizontal parallel bands with floral arabesques, on the upper convex side of the lid two gilt flying phoenixes.
