HITLER AND GENERAL GROW ORIGINAL CARTOON ARTWORK
Large original artwork for a cartoon of General Grow, Hitler, and Tojo stand on a mountain overlooking the sea. At the horizon, a big explosion is seen and on the shoreline of the mountain, two tanks with the 6th Armored Division symbols can be seen. At the sight of the explosion Hitler yells, 'Ach!! It must be the 6th!'. A small caption is underneath the illustration, 'The baby is two years old!'. Artist unknown. 18 x 14 inches. General Robert W. Grow, (1895-1985), was the commander of the 6th Armored Division in WWII and fought with the Division at the Battle of Normandy and Battle of the Bulge. Poster has folds, two 1.5-inch tears on left side, one 1-inch tear on right side, and one 10-inch tear on right side.
