After Joseph Mallord William Turner, British 1775 to 1851, pair of engravings on paper, Whalers and Snow Storm. The present copies were engraved by Robert Brandard and published by D Appleton & Co New York, in 1859 to 1861. Signed in the plate lower right and left. Titled in the print lower to the center. Marked in the print lower to the center. Medium Steel Engraving from Series Portfolio titled The Turner Gallery. Catalogue Raisonné Rawlinson 750 British ed. Same items but different copies are part of the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art MET in New York as well as the British TATE Gallery. European Antiques and Art Collectibles.
