Antique WB Mizpah 925 Scottish Birds Foot Kilt Pin
Antique Ward Brothers Mizpah Thistle Victorian Sterling Silver Scottish real grouse foot or claw brooch pin. There is an etched Thistle on the sterling silver holder and a ring on one claw. Signed with 5 hallmarks: "WBs, unidentified 1st mark lion passant facing left (925), Edinburgh, "B" early 1900's". Measures 2 3/1". Usually worn on kilts, shawls and cloaks or for collectors of vintage jewelry. These pins were used for good luck when game hunting. This pin was made by "The Ward Brothers Scotland". From a single owner collection. Estate was passed down to consignor.
