This artwork was bought by the last owner during the first half of the 20th. C. in FINDLAY GALLERIES Inc. Chicago. The painting is coming with the original wooden frame from the epoch. The dimensions are Approx. 15.5"x 17.5" (Antique wood frame) and 8" x 11'' (the artwork), small variances can occur. The frame DOES NOT conserve its glass protection.

Leonard Howard Reedy (1899-1956) was born in Chicago in 1899. As a child he developed an aptitude for drawing, attempting to reproduce the style and subject matter of Frederic Remington, the dominant western illustrator of the first half of the twentieth century. He was enrolled in the Chicago Institute and Academy of Fine Arts.
