AN ILYA SHENKER SIGNED LITHOGRAPH, BALLET SERIES, "LE CORSAIRE"
Signed bottom right, numbered 73/150 A series of 8 silkscreen-lithographs that are signed and numbered by artist Ilya Shenker. The gift was donated by Sandra Genter to the Jerome Robbins Dance Division possibly in 2013. This lithograph depicts a scene from the famous ballet "Le Corsaire", first performed in 1858 at the Ballet of the Moscow Imperial Bolshoi Theatre.
Dimensions: 19 1/8 in., x 14 9/16 in., (48.5 x 37 cm.)
Condition: Excellent.
