"Cultural Jade" Axe from Central America
This approx 7" x 3" stone axe is Nebula Stone / chloromelanite and referred to as cultural jade, not true jade. Its origin is believed to be the Salama Valley in the Northern Guatemalan Highlands. This material is also found in Mexico.
