DOUGLAS MACARTHUR
(1880-1964) General of the Army for the United States, as well as a Field Marshal to the Philippine Army. He was Chief of Staff of the United States Army during the 1930s, and he played a prominent role in the Pacific theater during World War II. Clipped signature of General Douglas MacArthur in black ink, 1.75 x 3.75 inches. With two letters regarding MacArthur's participation in the U.S. Olympic Committee and a reprinted speech by Macarthur 'Duty, Honor, Country' delivered at West Point in 1962, 6.25 x 9.5 inches. Four pieces.
