EISENHOWER & CHURCHILL HONORING WAR DEAD PHOTO ALBUM
General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, and her Majesty the Queen presentation photo album documenting 'The Service of Commemoration in honor of 28,000 American dead in war-time comradeship with the people of Great Britain and of Dedication of the Roll of Honor held at St. Paul's Cathedral on July 4th, 1951'. The album includes 28 photographs of Queen Elizabeth and princess Elizabeth (soon to be Queen Elizabeth II), Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower and wife, Winston Churchill, American and British generals and officials, and soldiers attending the service, pasted into the album is a commemoration program, excerpt from an address by the Archbishop of Canterbury, 1945 address by Eisenhower, and a list with 64 names from the Roll of Honor. All photos are approximately 8 x 10 inches. 12 x 16.5 inches. Album with gilt title, disbound, spine damaged, stains on some pages and cover, some photos bears captions and are in good condition.
