WWI BALLON FLAK ARTILLERY GROUPING
Large group belonging to Vizewachtmeister HERBERT VIERTH, a member of Flakzug 420, includes WWI soldier letters, photographs, and newsletters: Two newsletters 'Die Luftflotte' from October 27 and December 22, 1914; an official permit for Officer Vierth to order the shooting at an aircraft following the regulations the military established; a copied map of Hamm from 1700; a military rule book for officers; a cabinet card of a member of the Danzig-Zoppoter Yacht Club Gode Wind. 23 letters addressed to Herbert Vierth dated from 1914 to 1918. Photo album containing 63 black-and-white photographs, pages are loose. Excellent grouping and very detailed original photographs from WWI.
