Charming board game depicting the life of the Prophet Moses from childhood in Pharaoh’s palace to leading the Israelites through the desert, in 63 lavish engravings. Includes extra-Biblical material, such as Moses’ usage of storks in the battle for Kush. With board games becoming increasingly popular in post-Enlightenment Europe, clerics and pietists sought to harness this enthusiasm to increase knowledge in traditional religious fields, resulting in the Biblical board game.
