Our first curated auction of 2022 features artwork, furniture, rugs, silver, porcelain, glass and a large selection of religious, decorative and ethnographic items, including pieces from the collection of Louis Pierre Ledoux.


Among the artwork up for auction, several paintings by Mylo Quam, Milt Kobayashi, Charles Levier and Stanley Boxer, as well as woodcuts from Maurice de Vlamnick, Berenice Abbott silver gelatin prints, Lebedang lithographs, and sculptures by Scott Hanson and Bob Bennett. Additionally, a selection of Keith Haring items.


Also featured are decorative items including two Meissen porcelain ewers, a Friedrich Adler Zsolnay vase, and a pair of Tiffany Favrile vases.


A large selection of furniture rounds out the sale, with pieces from Harvey Probber, Finn Juhl, Paul Evans, and an Isamu Nogchi floor lamp among the highlights. In addition, Globe-Wenicke stack bookcases, several library cabinets, and a mission oak gun cabinet.

Circa 17th to 18th Century Tibetan bronze statue with two deities together in an interpretation of wisdom and compassion. Bronze gilt with polychrome paint. They hold a bell and vajra in their hands depicting duality. "The male figure represents compassion and skillful means, while the female partner represents insight.
