Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Antique c1880s Lone Star Quilt
Antique c1880s Lone Star quilt measuring 61 x 75 inches. Large center star with a soft blue grey center with a turkey red print and solid cheddar. Ground is same soft blue which appears to be a home or a vegetable dye fabric and was probably much darker originally. Quilt is hand pieced and densely hand quilted. In good condition - as previously noted some fading and some edge wear. A sleeve for hanging has been attached to one side on the back. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate.
