Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Vintage Flower Garden Childs Quilt
Vintage c1940s Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt with Ties. An interesting quilt! Measuring 43x58 inches. It is hand pieced. There is no batting, but a yellow cotton solid backing. Each white hexagon and flower center hexagon has a pink tie. In addition, almost every seam is reinforced with a zig zag stitch in yellow thread. The perimeter is also stitched in a zig zag stitch, but in red thread. The machine zig zag stitches go through to the back. In very good condition. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
