Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Antique Hour Glass Crib Quilt c1880s
Antique c1880s Hour Glass crib quilt measuring 35x40 inches. 135 blocks 2x2 inches, set on point, with 1 inch green print sashing and shirting cornerstones, creating a lattice effect. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. The backing is a small black print on neutral ground. Quilt is in fair condition with fading, large spots, edge wear, and fabric deterioration. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
