Architectural Ten Commandments dramatically flanked by rampant lions.
Hand-carved wood painted in gold in Hebrew. Remnants of gold paint on the Hebrew lettering and red paint on the tongues of the lions.

Provenance: Abandoned synagogue (1970’s), Lower East Side of New York.
