The Chemdath Yamim was an anonymous work, brought to print by R. Israel Jacob Alghazi in 1731. Whether written with Sabbatean intent or not, it was fervently adopted by followers of the failed Messiah, including those who continued to practice their mystical meditations in the hope of bringing about the antinomic redemption their leader had promised.
