A remarkable letter by a grandson of R. Dovid Twersky of Tolna (see Toldoth Harabonim, no. 13822). He writes that he is aghast that his mother (Tzizia Chana) had passed away and yet he was not informed - especially by his uncle, R. Mottele (Twersky of Rachmastrivka).

He is deeply concerned to know what became of his mother’s possessions - especially a letter from R. Zushye of Anapoli, as well as a “Tabak” that had belonged to the Chernobyler Rebbe. Both of these items R. Mordechai had lent his mother as protection during the course of her trip to Jerusalem.

This lengthy letter also mentions his relative R. Pinchas Twersky of Ustila, the son-in-law of the Belzer Rebbe, R. Yisachar Dov Rokeach; as well as his sister Feigele, wife of the Skverer Rebbe.
