DINO GRANDI
(1895-1988) 1st Conte di Mordano, Italian Fascist politician, minister of justice, minister of foreign affairs and president of parliament. Typed letter on the letterhead of the Italian Embassy in London, August 31st, 1938, in part: 'My dear Ronald, returning from a brief holiday in Italy I have been told of all the trouble you have so kindly taken over the question of the Italian School in London...please accept my cordial thanks...very sincerely your Grandi.' 7 x 9 inch, minor creases, mailing folds, else fine.
