A RUSSIAN GILT SILVER GUILLOCHE PHOTO FRAME
A Russian silver and guilloche photograph frame. Of oval form, with translucent green enamel over an engine-turned ground and chased gilt laurel border. In the middle, there is a circular portrait inset depicting Emperor Nicholas I with the Imperial Warrant below, surmounted by a garnet stone. The back with scrolling gilt-silver strut. Hallmarked with the manufacture and other marks. In the case. Weight: 229.2 g.
