FOUR ORIGINAL GEORGE A. BRADSHOW SIGNED ETCHINGS

A collection of four early 20th century original signed etchings by George A. Bradshaw, American, 1880-1968. All four etchings are matted and signed in pencil by the artist: G. A. Bradshaw on the lower right; three etchings titled on the lower left: Twin Elms, Mount Vernon, and Above the Village. The etching Twilight After Snow is untitled. George A. Bradshaw was an early twentieth century New Jersey artist. He was a pupil of John Ward Stimson and studied at the Trenton School of Industrial Arts. Later he served as a long time instructor at that institution. Although a fine painter, most of Bradshaw's artistic endeavors were in the medium of original etching. In this field he excelled both as an illustrative artist and as an etcher of views in Trenton, Newark and other New Jersey locations. George Bradshaw was a full member of the Brooklyn Society of Etchers, the Chicago Society of Etchers and the North Shore Artists Association. Examples of his original etchings will be found in public collections in Newark, Trenton and elsewhere. Vintage American Art Prints, Wall Decorations And Collectibles.

Dimensions: Average Matted 17" x 12" in. All measurements are approximate
