22X16 Oval Framed Photograph Chicago And Eastern Illinois. Oval Framed photograph with other dimension of 22 inches wide by 16 inches tall. Frame is hand painted with a swirl laying marble or faux wood, appears there are cartouche embossed flowers on top, bottom and sides. The glass of the frame is a bubble or oval shape image area measures approximately 18 1/2 inches by approximately 12 1/2 inches. The original photograph is hand colored and is in amazing condition. Image is of a Chicago And Eastern Illinois steam locomotive switcher unit #16 which is an 0-6-0 wheel arrangement. Photo shows a very proud engineer standing on the running board of his locomotive, this was probably done when the loco was still brand new. Condition of the frame is good with damage to inner portion of frame on left side, a few cracks in the plaster, otherwise still a beautiful frame with an amazing image inside it.
