This logbook, kept by George F. Cary, a public notary who served in Machias from 1891-1912, contains a dozen first-hand testimonials from captains whose ships' cargos were lost. Including the schooner Lavinia F. Warren, Nellie King, Jerusha Baker, Janus Freeman, George E. Dali, Alfalfa, Dreorra, and others. 8.5 x 7 inches.
