VINTAGE ARTISTIC GLAZED CERAMIC VASE LEA HALPERN
Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic spherical ceramic vase with wide neck, covered with shiny glaze in marsh green, brown and black shades. Signed by the artist, L. Halpern, and numbered, 12304, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. Provenance: The William Doyle, lot # 265. Please refer to the attached original paper labels.
