VINTAGE ARTISTIC GLAZED CERAMIC BOWL LEA HALPERN
Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic ceramic bowl covered with shiny glaze in brown and dark blue shades. Signed by the artist, L. Halpern, and numbered, 195, on the bottom. Circa 1920s - 1940s. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. Provenance: The William Doyle, lot # 290.
