WWI Army 304th Artillery Unit History & Roster Book Group. Named to Walter M. Dorst. Dorst was a Wagoner during WWI. He was a part of the 77th Infantry Division. He left for France aboard the ship Leviathan on 24 April 1918. You will receive The Autobiography Of A Regiment. A History Of The 304th Field Artillery In The World War. By James M. Howard Captain, Regimental Chaplain. Copyright: 1920. Pages: 310. This book has a lot of personal notations throughout the book written by Walter Dorst who was a part of the 304th Field Artillery. A great personal and regimental history. Also, as part of this group is news clippings, censored letters from Dorst, pages of addresses, 1946 The Civic Bulletin, plus information regarding Dorst printed out from the internet. The cover is loose from the spine. Otherwise good readable condition.
