Handwritten letter and signature of Rabbi Eliyahu Gutmacher of Graditz regarding assistance to a widowed woman.
The Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Gutmacher (1796-1865) - the Tzaddik from Graditz, a disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger, tens of thousands of people flocked to his door to be saved from the blessings of his mouth, until he was forced to publish ads in the periodicals that he had stopped doing so.
