Beautiful set of the Shulchan Oruch with the Darkei Moshe glosses of the Rema. With the Be’er HaGolah glossary and indices by R. Moshe Rivkes of Vilna. The Be’er HaGolah provides the sources in the Talmud and Rishonim for the rulings of the Shulchan Oruch. It was received to great acclaim and has since become synonymous with the study of Shulchan Oruch appearing in almost every edition. Great grandfather of the Vilna Gaon who continued referencing the sources of the Shulchan Oruch in the Biur Ha’Gra.

Each volume includes two title pages, the first illustrated with copper-etchings of figures of angels.

Amsterdam 1698 [נח"ת] the year which the Baal Shem Tov, founder of the Chassidic movement, was born in that year.
