The Rebbe instructs against the acceptance of a political donation to benefit Alpert's network of schools. The Rebbe discusses the respective release from imprisonment of the Alter Rebbe and the Mittler Rebbe. The Rebbe gives Alpert a blessing rooted in a Chazalic statement, with his interpretation.
