Silver on black ceramic. Signed, made in Mexico 95, Plata Pura. The famous Mexican artist and silversmith Emilia Castillo, from the well known Castillo family. These whimsical pieces, made in 1996 are representative of her very decorative and sought after style. Rich pure silver overlay on black basalt colored ceramic shaped like cats and mice figurines. Signed and marked with silver overlay on the underside as pictured.
