A RUSSIAN HAND-HAMMERED SILVER KOVSH, 18TH C.
Antique silver kovsh of traditional form with raised prow and handle. The bowl is decorated with a raised image of a bird among the scrolling foliage and bunches of grapes. The handle cast with decorative curls and a depiction of a male face, probably with a portrait of Peter the Great. Unmarked. Weight: 3.1 oz., 88 gr.
