Teaching Debit Din - Azmir - Single Edition - Long Glosses Signed by Rabbi Shlomo Tajir

Rabbi Shlomo Tajir (1866-1936) was the son of Rabbi Yona Moshe. He was a Jerusalem sage and a rabbi in a number of cities, including Tashkent-Bukhara and the Fergana Valley in 1913, Baghdad in 1912, Beirut in 1921, Damascus from 1923-1929. He was very well-versed in languages and science, met the Russian Czar and Minister Stolypin in 1910, and succeeded in convincing them to cancel the expulsion order for the Jews of Tashkent and Bukhara.
