VINTAGE ARTISTIC GLAZED CERAMIC BOWL LEA HALPERN
Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic ceramic bowl covered with volcanic or lava glaze in red and black shades. Signed by the artist, L. Halpern, and numbered on the bottom. Circa 1920s - 1940s. The auction paper labels on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments.
