VINTAGE ARTISTIC GLAZED CERAMIC VASE LEA HALPERN
Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic spherical ceramic vase covered with glaze in dark brown and grey shades. Signed by the artist, L. Halpern, and numbered, 557, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. Provenance: The William Doyle, lot # 307.
