1957.
Agadati (1895-1976) was a legendary figure of modern Israeli culture. Born Baruch Kaushansky in Bessarabia, he grew up in Odessa. After moving to Palestine and initial studies at Bezalel, he was active in the worlds of both dance and of film. In the 1920's and 30's Agadati was the organizing spirit behind Tel Aviv's legendary Purim carnival 'Ade-lo-yada.'
