Jerusalem, 1983.
Born in Kazakhstan to Russian refugees fleeing Hitler, Zohar eventually immigrated to Eretz Israel. In later years he settled in England where he was famously commissioned by the Royal Hussars military regiment to paint the official portrait of their patron, Diana, Princess of Wales.
Provenance: Commissioned directly from the artist, 1983.
