Pri Kodesh Hilulim (Zidichov), first edition—Lviv (Lemberg) 1833 (on the cover: 1802)
The introduction to Pri Etz Haim according to the kabbalah, composition by the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Zidichov, known as the “Sar Beit HaZohar.” It was first printedin 1876, but as a result of the censor, the cover page says it was printed in 1802. On the last page is an item hinting at the real year of its publication. Stefanski Chassidut 483. Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Eichenstein of Zidichov (1763-1831), a descendent of the Tosafot Yom Tov, founded Zidichov chassidut, was known as a kabbalist well-versed in mysticism as well as the revealed Torah. Rabbi Haim of Sanz, the Divrei Haim, said that when people in Galicia say “Rabbi” by itself, they intend the Rabbi of Zidichov. Rabbi Yehezkel of Sinoa said that going up to his grave on the day of his death on 11th of Tammuz was tantamount to the journey to the Rashbi’s grave on Lag B’Omer. Generally good to very good condition, without binding. Light moth marks in a lone few pages. Rare book.
